What You’ll Do
As Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our 5-year product roadmap, from concept to launch. You’ll collaborate closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure every product aligns with customer needs and our brand values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a clear, strategic 5-year product roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends
- Lead full product lifecycle management using Stage-Gate processes
- Conduct customer visits, interviews, and site observations to gather Voice of the Customer insights
- Align product positioning, features, timelines, and go-to-market strategies with internal teams
- Oversee product design validation, testing, and certification
- Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and sustainability objectives
- Track competitive trends and manage differentiation strategies, including IP and patents
- Support product training and marketing initiatives
- Represent Primacoustic at tradeshows, design events, and industry conferences
Requirements
What You Bring
- Solid knowledge of acoustics in architectural or construction contexts
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Acoustics, Industrial Design, Architecture, Audio Technology, or related field
- Experience in product management within building materials or commercial interiors
- Understanding of design/construction processes and working with architectural specifiers
- Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Experience with Stage-Gate or similar product development methods
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to design excellence, innovation, and environmental responsibility
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with AV integrators or acoustic consultants
- International travel for research, customer engagement, or events
