About Us
The Hägglöf Lab studies how B lymphocytes sense and respond to molecular stresses and insults to determine how B cell coping mechanisms control antibody formation and immune responses in contexts of cancer and vaccination.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a moderate number of simple or moderate technical procedures;
- Mouse husbandry and colony management
- Perform simple immunoassays
- Sample acquisition on flowcytometer (i.e., change tubes)
- Assist with tissue/extraction/preparation for experiments
- Require occasional guidance;
- Order routine supplies;
- Rarely modify technical procedures;
- Rarely train other lab members;
- Rarely guide other lab members;
- A simple / limited understanding of scientific literature and the research goals and rationale is required;
- Occasionally analyze data;
- Rarely nterpret data;
- Rarely make written contributions to papers and grant proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required to have at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related science or equivalent skills and related experience, and zero to two years of related experience.
- Previous experience from B cell biology lab preferred
