King Animal Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Small Animal Oncologist to join our multi-disciplinary team!
You will play an integral role in establishing and growing our Oncology Centre, working collaboratively with a team of experienced specialists, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Animal Care Attendants, and Client Services Representatives. Your expertise will directly impact the lives of our small animal patients, providing cutting-edge cancer treatment and compassionate care.

King Animal Hospital is a new, privately owned, 60,000 sq ft Equine and Small Animal Multi-Specialty Referral & Emergency Services Hospital located on 50 acres in King City, Ontario, Canada, just minutes from downtown Toronto.
Designed with employee wellness and gold-standard patient care in mind, our hospital boasts:
- Eight operating rooms
- Twelve exam rooms
- Oncology area and potential for 10,000 sq ft oncology radiation centre
- On-site in-house lab and pharmacy
- Two x-ray rooms
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team of approximately 250 staff members, including Board-Certified Specialists in:
- Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery
- Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery
- Equine Surgery
- Internal Medicine
- Critical Care
- Neurology/Neurosurgery
- Anesthesia
- Dermatology
- Ophthalmology
- Cardiology
- Emergency Services
- Rehabilitation

Advanced Diagnostics & Equipment
At King Animal Hospital, we utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technology, including:
- 3T MRI (GE) for small animals
- 1.5T MRI (Siemens) for equine patients
- CT-Scan with a robotic arm for equine (Universal Medical System)
- GE 128-slice CT scan for small animals
- Scintigraphy, C-arm, and Fluoroscopy
- Ultrasound and Digital Radiography
- High-flow oxygen and mechanical ventilation
- ECG, laser therapy, and hyperbaric chamber for wound healing

About You & How to Apply
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Board-Certified (ACVIM-Oncology or ECVIM-Oncology) Veterinary Oncologist. We also welcome Residency-Trained candidates eligible for board examination.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO).
