Our client, a well-established and highly successful Private Equity firm, is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. The Sr. Corporate Accountant will be responsible for core accounting, cash management, billing, and reporting functions for the company and related entities.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management company.

• Deliver internal financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and accruals.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.

• Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA (or active pursuit of CPA) strongly preferred

2+ years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm (or comparable public accounting firm), or a combination of public accounting and relevant industry experience (private equity, hedge fund, or asset management environment)

Advanced MS Excel proficiency; comfort working with large datasets
