Sleep Medicine Physician

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA is seeking a clinician with fellowship training in Sleep Medicine for a full-time position in the Division and on the faculty of Harvard Medical School.  The candidate should be Board eligible in Sleep Medicine at the time of appointment.  Board eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine at the time of appointment is also preferred.  The candidate will be expected to participate in a busy faculty ambulatory practice in sleep medicine, with a clinical focus on respiratory disorders of sleep.  Experience managing non-respiratory disorders of sleep is also required.

The chosen candidate will play a significant role in the education of Harvard Medical students, residents in the Beth Israel Deaconess Internal Medicine Training Program, and fellows from both the Massachusetts General – Beth Israel Deaconess Fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and the Beth Israel Deaconess Fellowship in Sleep Medicine. Finally, the candidate will be expected to have scholarly output sufficient to fulfill metrics for promotion according to the Harvard Medical School Investigator or Clinical Expertise and Innovation Area of Excellence.  Academic rank will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level.  Beth Israel Deaconess is a 590-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital.
