Your AR and Collection experience is required for this niche property team Your new company

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join a well-established property company on the Gold Coast. This role is well suited to a confident finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative property environment and is looking to further develop their career.
Your New Role
Reporting into the property team, you will be responsible for managing tenant arrears across a diverse retail portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tenant accounts and supporting effective debt recovery outcomes.Key responsibilities include:

Managing arrears for an allocated portfolio of tenants, with portfolio allocation subject to change in line with business requirements

Achieving arrears and collection targets set by the business

Conducting high-volume reconciliations of tenant accounts, ensuring payments and credits are applied accurately and within required timeframes

Finalising inactive accounts in a timely manner

Liaising with external solicitors regarding legal matters relating to arrears and recovery

Assisting with additional administration and processing tasks within the property company as required

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.To be successful, you will have:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-volume accounts receivable or collections role

Previous experience in a property or retail environment (highly regarded)

Demonstrated experience reconciling tenant or client accounts

Sound knowledge of retail leases

Exposure to arrears management involving administration and liquidation (desirable)

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

A clear understanding of credit policies and procedures
