Description
Responsibilities-
- Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, including:
- Business strategy and positioning
- Operational efficiency and competitiveness
- Financial performance and market dynamics
- Industry structure and attractiveness
- Support the identification, evaluation and execution tracking of value creation initiatives, such as:
- Strategy refocusing and transformation
- Operational improvements and cost optimisation
- Balance sheet and capital structure enhancements
- Corporate restructuring initiatives
- Develop and maintain robust valuation and financial models including:
- Sum-of-the-Parts (SOTP) analyses
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Model (DDM)
- Trading comparables and precedent transactions
- Scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, with a focus on:
- Financial strength and key value drivers
- Competitive positioning
- Industry trends and emerging risks/opportunities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio companies, including:

- Engage with stakeholders, management teams and Board Directors:
- Support strategic discussions
- Provide analytical insights to inform decision-making
- Track execution of key initiatives
- Support portfolio management initiatives and transaction-related workstreams, including:
- Due diligence, valuation, capital structure analysis
- Research and prepare high-quality analyses, presentations, and internal memoranda to support decision making
- Contribute to portfolio-wide value creation initiatives, including:
- Identifying synergies across companies
- Supporting organic and inorganic growth opportunities
- Engage with stakeholders, management teams and Board Directors:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 1-3 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, private equity / corporate finance / M&A, accounting or related fields
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and writing abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong ownership and ability to work independently
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet)
- AI fluency, including practical use of tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance research, synthesis, analysis, and productivity
