A plaintiff-side trial firm in Chicago with a track record that includes Top 20 Jury Verdicts in Illinois and Top 100 Commercial Verdicts nationally is seeking an associate attorney. We represent individuals and businesses, including employees, executives, whistleblowers, and shareholders, in federal and state court.

The Role

You will work directly with trial counsel on active federal and state court matters. That means drafting motions, managing discovery, preparing witnesses, and being in the courtroom. This is not a document review position. Cases go to trial here.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in Illinois

2–4 years of civil litigation experience (employment, commercial, or personal injury all considered)

Defense-side background is welcome and transferable

Demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery, and court filings

Familiarity with federal court practice; Northern District of Illinois experience a plus

Strong legal writer. You will draft briefs, 56.1 statements, and discovery from day one

Ability to manage multiple active matters independently

A genuine interest in plaintiff-side advocacy
