Opening in spring 2025, Glenrosa Restaurant will bring authentic Sonoran cuisine to life in a beautifully renovated space at Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills in Tempe, Arizona. Assists Bartender with cleaning, stocking, and other tasks. Assists with beverage preparation and service and adheres to all established standards. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Assists & supports in inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Bartender and/or Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cleaning, and restocking, organizing and maintaining storage areas.
• Accountable for checks transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Assists with setup and breakdown of portable bars and other catered events.
• On occasion serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Previous working experience in restaurant environment.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches; tastes, smells and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
