Position Overview:

Vernon View Golf Course is seeking a dependable, high-energy team member to take on a key operational role within our facility. This position goes beyond a typical golf shop role and is responsible for helping manage daily operations across the golf shop, tee sheet, food & beverage, and customer experience.

This is an ideal role for someone who takes ownership, works well independently, and enjoys being involved in all aspects of a golf operation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tee sheet and check in golfers using POS
• Handle all customer transactions (golf, retail, food & beverage)
• Answer phones and assist with bookings, questions, and customer service
• Prepare and sell food & beverage items (beer, snacks, quick-serve items)
• Oversee golf cart staging, cleanliness, and rotation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional golf shop and clubhouse
• Communicate course conditions, policies, and pace of play expectations
• Assist with leagues, outings, and daily operations flow
• Support indoor simulator operations (seasonal)

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and multiple responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Availability for evenings and weekends

Preferred (Not Required):

• Previous golf course, restaurant, or retail experience
• Basic golf knowledge
• Interest in growing within the golf industry
