Description
The University of South Alabama Department of Earth Sciences is seeking applicants for a full-time (9-month) non-tenure-track Instructor position in Physical Geography, starting August 15, 2026. Qualifications include a Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Geography with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline. Teaching experience in undergraduate labs or courses is required. The candidate will be responsible for managing Physical Geography labs and may also teach a physical geography lecture or an introductory GIS course based on Department need. Summer teaching opportunities may be available based on Department need. The successful candidate must be able to work legally in the United States.
